Inside the factory compound of Shenxi Machinery Group, heavy cranes stretch out their long booms. Transport trucks loaded with new shaft formworks line up in order. After the final inspection and confirmation by quality inspectors, the vehicles slowly roll out of the factory amid honking. These core pieces of equipment embodying technological breakthroughs are bound for key domestic mine vertical shaft construction sites, injecting new momentum into underground engineering construction with innovative technologies.
As a brand-new masterpiece of Shenxi in the formwork and scaffolding sector, the newly delivered innovative shaft formwork can be hailed as an “efficiency accelerator for underground engineering”. Integrated with multiple cutting-edge industrial technologies, it outperforms conventional equipment in numerous aspects: It adopts an integral telescopic structure, with scaffolding enabling precise form stripping and form setting. A small crew of operators can complete the whole set of procedures, drastically cutting manual labor intensity. Its innovatively designed effective section height of 5.5 meters reduces pouring cycles by nearly 40% compared with standard 3.5-meter section height formworks. Equipped with triangular hinge pouring spouts, it effectively resolves quality defects at shaft wall construction joints. The main body of the formwork is made of high-strength steel structures with a three-layer modular design (upper, middle and lower sections). A suspension system evenly arranged at 120° ensures stable hoisting, guaranteeing construction safety and precise shaft wall forming even under complex geological conditions.
The smooth delivery of this batch of shaft formworks not only marks market recognition of Shenxi’s technological breakthroughs in underground engineering equipment, but also addresses the urgent demand for efficient construction from mining, water conservancy and other industries. Compared with traditional construction methods, this equipment cuts auxiliary operation time by over 30%. Meanwhile, fewer construction cycles lower both energy consumption and pollutant emissions, fully aligning with the industry trend of green construction.
As of press time, the first batch of shaft formworks is en route to project sites. Shenxi’s technical service team will be stationed at construction sites simultaneously to provide full-process guidance covering installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance. Going forward, Shenxi will continue to deepen its presence in the formwork and scaffolding industry, delivering more competitive equipment solutions to propel high-quality development of underground engineering construction across China.
